Painted Wood Jewelry Dish DIY

Who is ready for summer? Although my kids are still in school it sure feels like summer has begun. Last weekend we took a little trip to a nearby island where we enjoyed the sandy white beaches. I am ready for sandy toes and salty kisses because we will be spending most of our time at the beach and eating Japanese ramen. There will also be a lot of swimming, diving, kayaking, sun bathing and collecting seashells, that’s what our summer will look like for us and I can hardly wait.

Today I’m sharing with you a very simple DIY and I’m joined by a fabulous group of blogging friends who are also sharing their Summer DIY Ideas as part of the Seasonal Simplicity Summer Series!

I wouldn’t put food in these dishes, but they make a great accessory on your desk or coffee table!

DIY Painted Wood Jewelry Dish

Supplies Needed:
*Wooden Dishes/Monkeypod
*Multi-surface Craft Paint
*Paint Brush
*Painters Tape

1. Smoothed down to prevent any paint from seeping underneath.

3. After the paint is completely dry you can place your favorite jewelry in them.

How easy is that!

For more beautiful Summer DIY inspirations, check out 20 of my talented friends below! I also wanted to give a big Thank You to Krista The Happy Housie for hosting this lovely Summer DIY hop.

xoxo -Norma

Norma, I love the mix of wood and paint. These are so sweet. We live at the beach in summers too.
