Free Vintage Rose Fortune Cookie Printable

We’ve had a very wet and rainy winter here in Japan, although I truly love and enjoy the rain I am ready for some warm sunshine. I’ve heard so many wonderful things that happen around here during spring and I’m dying to experience it all (or at least what I can). Here in Japan during the spring season it’s all about the cherry blossoms, seasonal foods, and both traditional and modern festivals. From fruit picking (specially strawberries.. I’ve been told) to flower festivals and traditional parades. You can now see why I’m so excited for spring!

Japan is known for its cherry blossoms, the delicate pink blossoms known as sakura. But, sakura aren’t the only flowers worth viewing during the spring time in Japan. Plum blossoms often mistaken for cherry blossoms, range in color from white, to various shades of pink, and even yellow.

I also did a little research and found out that the most celebrated spring flowers in Japan is ‘shibazakura’ (moss phlox), which paints a pink carpet across the landscapes with its blossoms. Yes take it all in… can you just picture a landscape covered in pretty pink blossoms? Sounds amazing doesn’t it? And of-course you have tulips, roses, and a number of other flowers that are in full bloom around this time.

You can say I was inspired by all the beautiful pink blossoms to bring you two vintage rose printables! And I’m so happy to be teaming up with some of my favorite bloggers, including the fabulous Ella Claire that organized all of this! To share a collection of beautiful free spring printables and spring decorating ideas with you.
