Faux Floral Wreath DIY

We have had three wonderful summers in Okinawa, Japan. Living in Okinawa has been the best and most humbling experience I’ve could have asked for. Japan stretches from the frigid island of Hokkaido in the extreme north, all the way to the idyllic subtropical islands of Okinawan in the far southwest where we are. Summers are hot and humid, but living right by the ocean makes it all worth it.

Did you know that Okinawa is a renowned area for travel, holding many of the most beautiful beaches in Japan and some of the top diving spots in the world! I’m not exaggerating when I say that our beaches have white sand and crystal blue waters. Don’t get me started on all the seashells you find, it’s truly breathtaking.

The ocean blues inspired me to create this summer wreath. I wanted to bring some of those ocean blues and lush green mountains that surround us indoors.

I went to our local Daiso and found everything I needed to make this wreath, can you believe everything was under $12 to make!

Faux FLoral Wreath

Supplies Needed:
*Wreath
*Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
*Faux Floral Stems
*Faux Greenery
*Pliers
*Scissors
Steps:
1. Start by cutting your faux greenery and floral stems with the pliers. Try to leave an inch or two of the stems.
2. You can start hot gluing and tucking in your greenery into the wreath. Make sure you the greenery is nice and snug into the wreath.
3. After the greenery is all in place start gluing and tucking in your florals. Make sure you cover most of the wreath with the florals and greenery.
That’s it!  I hope you give this DIY a try and remember to tag me on Instagram @paintmepinkblog if you make this wreath!

Even though this is our last summer here, I’m determined to make the most of it. This will be a very busy and unforgettable summer for us.

I hope you have the time to look through all the beautiful Summer Wreath inspirations below! I also wanted to give a big shoutout and Thank You to Krista The Happy Housie for hosting this lovely Summer Wreath hop.

xoxo -Norma
